Storm's out; Sun's in

We made it through. Tree branches, pine cones and leaves are scattered everywhere but the robins have returned to the lawns.
I think we can officially say that our Summer is ovah!
Editing the Hans Teichman footage tomorrow, the lad surprised us all. Maybe I'll toss in some of Justus' footage on Eoin even though Liliana hasn't responded about an interview in January. I know, I know, the guy has bigger fish to fry, still...

The Scene So Far

Hey now, it's Colin Devlin's birthday tomorrow! Just thought I'd mentioned that for no particular reason, no action needed, plenty of distraction considered.

I had PC come into the studio to talk about his new CD: 20 Haiku, the show went really well and I think I’m going to submit it for the local and national video awards under two categories: Entertainment and Talk Show. Paul Manousos did another segment for the show as well and we found out that if you light the shimmering curtain all in blue it’s becomes blue screen, so we did some cool effects on it for a song or two. The only problem was that Paul was also wearing blue so if we used it too much he would have been reduced to a floating head and that’s not a good look for anyone. PC’s segment aired on November 5th and Paul’s on November 19. Paul will have an encore airing on December 3rd because I couldn’t swing editing prior to that date and because it’s just a damn good segment! So watch the show if you’re in San Francisco on December 3rd, 7:30pm, Channel 29.

In communicating with Garrin Benfield I’ve booked the lad for February 4th. Should be good. BTW you can find Paul Manousos and Garrin Benfield by the search feature in myspace.

For the past 3 days San Francisco’s been wet which means loads of people driving very badly. Today the sun is making a brave effort in fighting back the clouds, making for a very dramatic sky!

The Devlins have 2 more days left on their Irish tour then the lads are going on vacation, separately of course!

Los Amigos Invisibles played Bimbo’s last Saturday and it was an excellent 2 hour show filled with lounge-esque merengue cumbia mambo beats, too difficult to describe so check out some of their tunes at Amazon.

Finally watched Mad Hot Ballroom and Midnight Cowboy, yeah, you need a neck brace for that segue!
Laters,
C

Rainy Days and Tuesdays

Right!
It's been coming down for nearly 16 hours straight so it's been 16 hours of people driving very badly. If people aren't careful, someone is going to kill mr. moonlight.
